A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT
I'm gonna put it out there, Anime and mister Miyazaki are totally at fault for this answer. I have always wanted to visit Japan, but the reason why has not always has had a clear and logical answer. I would definitely love to go to the more tourist sights that Japan has to offer, like going to an Onsen, to the Studio Ghibli Museum, and obviously visit different temples and shrines. But also I would love to experience the dichotomy of old architecture and technology so close and intertwined together, that I find really lacking in Santiago.
The quarantine has not helped my desire to visit as I have passed a lot of time watching tourist type videos of Harajuku and other areas surrounding Tokyo It would also be interesting to visit a country that doesn't practice catholicism as their primary religion taken into account the terrible relationships that I have whit it, and that Buddhism seems to speak much more closely to my moral codes.
I'm not sure if I would like to live there, but maybe a short stay around a scholarship, though I have not investigated around opportunities to post grade studies surrounding biological anthropology, and I definitely do not speak the language to a degree that would make me feel comfortable to move there. It would be impossible for me to move to a place where I cant communicate so that would be something that I would have to work on.
